The Balthus Knot

One thing that makes my video different from many other how-to videos is the dual perspectives used. The use of a mannequin provided the same perspective that someone would be seeing if they were attempting to make the knot. The dual color tie makes it easier to distinguish which side is the thick and which is the thin.

This instructional video teaches viewers how to make the Balthus tie knot.

The first scene focuses on the common trying to tie a tie frustration.

For scene two, I wanted to show two angles to really simplify the process.

The final scene is the conclusion and shows the knot as it is supposed to look.

The video shows the realization of the storyboard vision brought to life.

This picture shows the narration in contrast with the background music’s volume levels throughout the project.
